Unlike many competitors, we view ourselves as a full-time extension of your staff and volunteers. While others may offer part-time remote counsel who attempt to train their clients to do the work, we provide full-time onsite or virtual counsel by embedding ourselves within your organization and community. This hands-on approach is critical in each of the three phases of your fund-raising effort.

We have always believed that the approach to meet our clients’ needs is not the same for all communities and organizations.  We remain flexible in meeting our clients' needs and have developed several hybrid approaches in these unusual times.

Feasibility Study

A candid and objective analysis is critical when developing a shared vision.

The leadership of Opportunity Funding has a depth of experience in public and private sector organizational management. In the hectic pace of putting together and running an organization, it can be hard for leaders to develop a strong shared mission and vision of the organization (or leaders sometimes take their eye off its mission and vision). This approach lends itself to decreased support by those they serve as well as those that fund the organization. In many cases, its leadership is not aware that a "storm is brewing" until it is too late.

In order to be proactive instead of reactive, it is critical to involve your stakeholders and have a very candid Feasibility Study assessment of your organization and what are the hurdles impeding its positive evolution. As added value to our clients, Opportunity Funding will deliver an organization readiness assessment that identifies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as perceived by those they serve as well as those that fund the organization.

Opportunity Funding conducts 60 confidential one-on-one Feasibility Study interviews that answer key questions about the plan, the organization, who should lead the campaign and ultimately, potential financial levels of support.

At the conclusion of the Feasibility Study, we deliver a detailed action plan that can be used as your roadmap to success.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT

Opportunity Funding provides full-service fundraising counsel that offers you a complete solution to your pressing funding needs through our Turnkey Campaign Management Process.

TURNKEY CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT

Our Turnkey Capital Campaign Process dedicates full-time resources onsite (or resident counsel) that manages all phases of a successful capital campaign. Capital Campaign Management includes:

  • The completion of a detailed strategic plan

  • The development of performance metrics

  • The development of a custom, detailed economic impact analysis to demonstrate "return on investment" to your stakeholders

  • The development of a branding plan and related marketing and fundraising materials

  • A robust prospect and valuation development process including a focus on recruiting new investors

  • A structured, systematic presentation process to prospects where we make the ask and do the follow-up to recruit financial stakeholders to support your organization

  • The design and development of an investor relations program to keep your stakeholders informed, bought in and supportive of your efforts over the long haul

  • Your campaign benefits from the expertise of several Opportunity Funding team members, not just one consultant. This team-based model ensures consistent progress, specialized support, and ongoing strategic insight.

  • We leverage remote tools like video conferencing and cloud-based systems to keep the campaign moving forward efficiently. This approach allows us to engage a wide range of stakeholders, no matter their location or schedule, and makes it easy for your leadership team to stay informed and involved without adding extra burden.

This approach allows the organization to secure those increased resources and continue to focus on their day-to-day core function.
